Eric Wick
Eric Wick is the founder and CEO of Safety Team Technologies, which he launched in 2018 after 17 years as a risk manager and commercial insurance broker at a large, nationally recognized firm. He spent those 17 years helping blue-collar business owners — contractors, manufacturers, warehouse operators — build OSHA compliance programs and survive regulatory audits.
What made Eric different from a typical broker: he didn't just design safety programs on paper. He showed up on job sites to run toolbox talks, collected signatures, identified hazards, and stood next to his clients during OSHA inspections. He knew firsthand that the paperwork burden was the thing that broke small businesses — not a lack of willingness to keep workers safe.
After watching mobile and video technology transform every other part of business operations, Eric partnered with a few of his longest-tenured clients to build what he wished had existed during his 17 years in the field: a fully automated system that handles training delivery, attendance documentation, and hazard reporting — without requiring a safety manager or a binder full of paper.
