What Is Job Safety Analysis Software?

Identified Hazard and Correction Record
Log an unsafe condition found during an inspection (location, who's assigned, priority) and track the corrective action through to a completion date. This is the record that shows a hazard was caught and actually closed out, not just noted.
Corrective Action Report
For after an incident or exposure: who was involved, what happened, the root cause, the corrective action taken, and options to control or eliminate the cause going forward. A different document from a JSA: this one investigates what already happened.

Same Method, Different Name
Job hazard analysis (JHA) and job safety analysis (JSA) describe the same underlying technique. OSHA's own guidance (Publication 3071) uses "JHA." A lot of industry material and vendor software uses "JSA." Neither term is a standalone OSHA standard. The underlying, mandatory requirement is 1910.132(d)'s PPE hazard assessment in general industry and 1926.20(b)(2)'s frequent jobsite inspection requirement in construction.
